There Was Jesus
When I think of how our walk with Christ is such a personal walk, I am reminded that He longs to be first in our lives, and cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. Each day, our lives are filled with such noise and distractions, but if we take just a moment to realize that in the midst of all the commotion, He is there. One of my favorite songs in our current line- up is called, “There Was Jesus.” I love the lyrics, “even in the heat of battle, or by pleasant mountain stream, He’ll be right there in the middle, that’s where He’s always been! So be strong and take courage, when you think you’re gonna’ fall, ’cause right in the middle of it all, There Was Jesus… There Was Jesus… There Was Jesus!!!” * David *
